Shelly Collins
Tulsa based artist and high school art teacher Shelly Collins has been honing her skills as a painter for the last several years. Shelly earned a BFA in Advertising Design from Oklahoma Christian University.
Originally a graphic designer, Shelly has blended her design skills with her love of painting. Her studio work focuses on acrylic paintings and mixed media on paper. She uses vibrant colors, graphic patterns, and organic and familiar shapes to create non-objective images that embrace themes of play, beauty, and curiosity.
