McKenna Sanderson (she/her)
McKenna Sanderson is a multidisciplinary graphic designer. By day, she is an Assistant Professor, the Co-Assistant Director of the School of Design, and the Division Head of the BFA in Graphic Design program at UCO. She is also the managing partner/creative director of the on-campus, student-run studio, Inktank.
Her professional work is recognized by the AAF, UCDA, ADCT, and featured in HOW Magazine. Her photography has exhibited internationally, and in the past year, her papercut work was featured in multiple shows at Plaza Walls Gallery. She started the national student design competition, SALUTE, and she is the current President of AIGA Oklahoma.
She strives to continuously experiment and play through her work to promote growth and evolution, not only in design/art, but also in the self. Her biggest passion lies in teaching design and facilitating her students’ growth.
