Ashlyn Faulkner (she/her)
Ashlyn Faulkner is a painter, muralist, and creative. Known for painterly realism and juxtapositions of nature and cerebral imagery. As a '90s kid with her head in the clouds and feet in the woods, her imagination was strengthened by analog pursuits of reading fantasy paperbacks, painting, hiking, and drawing. When Faulkner was 16 she had an operation to correct scoliosis of the spine. This event served as a catalyst for her art and how she sees the world through meditative imagination. It was during this period Ashlyn saw the work of Frida Kahlo which inspired her to pursue the life of an artist. Since then she has sought to contemplate life through her art practice.
